One of my main intentions for the device is to record certain shows and then burn them to DVD to keep. Snap... although something like the Hauppague MediaMVP has appeal rather than DVD. At a piddly 8x burn by today's standards, an 8 meg buffer (which is NOT fully available BTW, drive f/w loads .5-1.5 meg for it's own uses average) will last all of about 8s. It's actually Roxio, who make Easy Cd Creator which is crap compared to Nero! I would choose Nero over them both...every time.
