of my main intentions for the device is to record certain shows and then burn them to DVD to keep. Snap... although something like the Hauppague MediaMVP has appeal rather than DVD. The drive itself came with a version of Nero Burning software for PCs [and AOPENs web site does not have any other burning s/w for download]. It's actually Roxio, who make Easy Cd Creator which is crap compared to Nero! I would choose Nero over them both...every time.
